  After months of treating me for psoriasis (5/2016-11/2016), I was finally told, to consider chemo therapy. I even got a second opinion . So, here I am waiting for my next appointment and I get no call. I am miserable, my skin is itchy and red hot! So, I went to my Primary Care Provider, to see if I could get a steroid shot (this is what I was given every appointment.) My PC tried calling and no return call. Finally, my PC gets a call, and, guess what, they decided not to take me on as a patient any more. They just dumped me! I ended up staying in the hospital for over 6 months. What was initially diagnosed as psoriasis by Dr.McElroy was actually a medication reaction. As soon as they discontinued the meds, my skin cleared up. They ruined my holiday celebration into 2017. And I'd like to quote what Dr. McElroy told, "this is me talking smack to you, you need to get that bariatric surgery to lose weight!" What kind of Doctor abandons you and what about the Hippocratic Oath. I will be writing a letter of complaint to the State of Hawaii Medical Board .
